UPDATES FROM MARY & NICHELLE – 12.30.2010

We’ve been gone for 8 days now and we miss Luna, Mouse and Orso terribly.  Luckily, both Mary and Nichelle have been sending us updates so we can get a furkid fix every now and then!

Luna and Mouse have been behaving well for Nichelle and she says that Luna in particular is loving the cold weather!  Nichelle says she is especially frisky and vocal!  Below is a picture Nichelle sent us of Luna and Mouse waiting attentively for any sign of a food reward!

Orso has also been behaving for Mary, which is great news!  We switched him off Wellness Super5Mix Large Breed Puppy because he was getting very gassy and always had soft stool.  Following a recommendation from Mary, he is now eating Fromm Gold Nutritionals Large Breed Puppy Gold and seems to be doing well on it.  Thanks, Mary!

Below is an email and photo that we received from Mary today:

“Hi Yvonne,

Orso is doing well.  He is having tons of fun working on his obedience and conformation, and just hanging out chewing bones.  He’s eating nice, lengthy meals (about ten minutes – we’ll go over that when you come get him) and no accidents in the house.  He got up in the middle of the night last night, but I’m not sure what that was about.  He peed when I took him out, but he wasn’t desperate to do it.  Other nights he’s been very good, so hopefully that was a fluke.

I’m attaching a couple pictures (from left to right: Pistol, Orso, Apple & Timber).  I went ahead and got a new bag of food for him, and he loves it.  His stool has been much more regular and not soft since he started eating the new food.  I think he’s also less gassy.
