LUNA (RIP) + MOUSE (RIP), OUR RESIDENT RESCUES
Luna passed away April 27, 2015; she was almost 10 years old. She has left a hole in all of our hearts. May she rest in peace.
Mouse passed away November 21, 2017; he was just 6 days shy of his 12th birthday. May he rest in peace.
Luna is our Catahoula Leopard rescue who came to us as a young puppy from a Catahoula rescue organization in the gulf area. She was born right after Hurricane Katrina on November 3, 2005 and was promptly dumped with her mom and littermates. Luna is incredibly intelligent and primitive. She is dominant and tries to always run the pack. Mouse is our Doberman rescue who came to us as a young puppy from Prayers N Paw Doberman Rescue. He is fawn and was born on November 27, 2005. Mouse is very sweet, yet rather timid, and he struggles to communicate effectively with other dogs. When he finds a dog he gets along with, he bonds with him or her very strongly. Anyone who sees him thinks he resembles a mysterious forest creature because of his mannerisms.
