Each line is broken down into Rank, Name, Sex, Number of Best of Breed Wins and Number of Dogs Defeated. This year’s Cane Corso Association of America (CCAA) Specialty Shows & other great events will be held in Las Vegas (Boulder City), Nevada! Tonight, I leave to Vegas to help out the CCAA, hang out with great Cane Corso folks and see some awesome dogs compete in the CCAA Breeder's Cup, Regionals & Nationals. I will also have the chance to attend fun & informative events such as the General Membership Meeting, Breed Seminar presented by Michael Ertaskiran & the Annual Awards Banquet where Orso will be honored with a medal! I am very excited about this trip and are happy to be going dog-less! In honor of my furkids, I placed the ad below in the CCAA’s event program, enjoy!  With the Cane Corso Association of America’s (CCAA) events just a couple of days away in Las Vegas, what better way to show some Cane Corso spirit than to wear it on my manicure!  THEY DID IT AGAIN! KARMA BEST OF OPPOSITE AND ORSO SELECT DOG IN RALEIGH, NC! – 03.24.20123/24/2012 Today was another excellent show day in Raleigh! Karma took Best of Opposite for a 3-point major with handler Hernan Matias Pacheco and Orso took Select Dog for 2 points with his handler Daniel Sanchez, both under Judge Jim Briley! Thanks to everyone for today’s successful show day! Below are my favorite photos of the day – sorry that they are a bit blurry and grainy – enjoy!           Orso took Select Dog again today in Raleigh, NC under Judge Beverly Capstick with handler Janice Granda for another 2 points toward his Grand Championship! Thanks to everyone! My camera was acting up, so I only have one photo to share of Orso & Karma hanging out in the ring, enjoy!  Today was another successful show day in Raleigh, NC! Day 2 of the show cluster sent us home with points for both Karma and Orso! Karma took Best of Opposite for a 4-point major with Champions defeated and Orso took Select Dog for his first 2 Grand Championship points under Judge Ruth Zimmerman with handler Daniel Sanchez! Thanks to all!
CLEO TAKES BEST OF BREED & FINISHES HER AKC GRAND CHAMPIONSHIP ON DAY 1 IN RALEIGH, NC! – 03.21.20123/21/2012  Today is a happy day for Team Cleo! Congratulations and thank you to my amazing handling team, Daniel Sanchez & Vanessa Lanz-Sanchez, for showing this special girl from her very first show point in December to today’s impressive Best of Breed win in Raleigh, NC under Judge Dawn Hansen. This win earned her an AKC Grand Champion title at 13 months of age.
Special thanks goes to Yulia Washington for breeding her, Kathi Wisdom for whelping her litter, raising, loving & training her and to Steel Campbell & JoAnne Campbell, who own her poppa, CH Ace. Also, thanks to all the judges who contributed to Cleo’s success, listed below! Not bad for a puppy showing for just over 14 weeks! Professional win photos to come soon… Cleo, at 13 months of age, took Best of Breed in Davie, FL, under Judge Jon Cole, with handler Daniel Sanchez, for another 3 points towards her GCH! 1 point left!!! Thanks Judge Cole, Danny and of course, my baby girl, Cleo!   For the second show day in a row, Karma was awarded Select Bitch today and her first point toward her Grand Championship under Col. Joe Purkhiser as judge and with handler Daniel Sanchez. She also defeated 2 champions, 1 of which will count toward her Grand Championship. After the show, Cleo and Karma got to hang out with Orso. Instead of taking traditional show ring photos, I took photos of them all hanging out ringside and in the exercise pens. Enjoy!         Today was a very nice show day! I haven’t seen Cleo & Karma since January, so it was amazing to see how much they had grown in these past two months. I didn’t even recognize Karma when I saw her! This weekend’s shows are in Davie, which is only about an hour from my house, so I was thrilled to have the opportunity to see my girls in the ring! It also turned out to be a very successful show day, making it all that much better of a day! Since Cleo and Karma are both working on their AKC Grand Championship titles, they now compete against each other in the Best of Breed class. Today, Cleo won Best of Breed – a wonderful achievement – and Karma won Select Bitch, so they both finished the day with points! Today’s judge was Mr. Jon Cole, who was incredibly pleasant! Cleo’s Best of Breed win earned her a 4-point major and the opportunity to compete in the Working Group class, where she showed beautifully. At only 13 months old, she was most likely the youngest in the ring and competition was tough, so just having the chance to represent our breed in the Working Group class was quite an excellent experience! Cleo now has only 1 point left to finish her AKC Grand Championship then she gets to come home and relax with me! Thanks to Judge Cole, my handlers Daniel & Vanessa Sanchez and everyone else who helped out in the ring! Of course, lots of appreciation goes to Cleo & Karma!
