Today is a week since Mira came into this world and joined the Costa Bel family. She has been growing up nicely and the 5 adults all respect her and are starting to really love being around her. They follow me around the house all day while I am carrying her. Orso sneaks in a lick across her face every chance he gets, LOL! Below is a picture of all 5 adults standing watch while I nurse Mira. My bottle-feeding skills are questionable, as I have managed to make Mira gassy, thus the pediatric anti-gas meds below. The cupcakes are for the folks at Animal Hospital of Fort Lauderdale for putting up with me. All in all, Mira is gaining weight nicely – she came in at 16.25 ounces today, just over 1 pound!
